Laredo Early College High School (ECHS) is a partnership between the Laredo Independent School District and Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). ECHS is a small public high school (a maximum of 480 students) that draws students from every middle school in the Laredo Independent School District of Laredo, Texas. There are four grade levels, ninth to twelfth, with approximately 120 students per grade level. The mission of Laredo Early College High School is to provide our students with cognitive skills and subject area knowledge that students need to master in order to succeed in today's colleges and universities. Laredo Early College High School offers a rigorous academic program with a small personalized setting. Students who attend ECHS must have a strong work ethic that will contribute to a successful college experience.
