Garcia Early College will be hosting a blood drive. If you would like to join the Honors Cord program sign up to donate. Your donation can help save lives. You must be 16 years or older. Parent’s signed consent needed if 16 years old. You must have 6 donations by May of Senior year to get your cord. If you have any questions please come by Nurse’s Office.

LISD campuses will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 21, through Friday, Nov. 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 28.

The GECHS Annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive is a coordinated effort of Mrs. Madriaga’s Junior Class, Ms. Rodriguez’s Spanish Honor Society, and Ms. HHernandez's Freshmen Class. The canned food donations will benefit the families helped by the Casa de Misercordia and the Sacred Heart Orphanage.


Congratulations to Mia Cuevas for winning the 16th Annual Logo Drawing Tech Expo Contest. Mia has won back-to-back. #PhoenixPride


GECHS students participated in H‑E‑B’s 34th annual Feast of Sharing at the Laredo Sames Arena. A big thanks to Mrs. Bryand, CIS Site Coordinator for instilling in GECHS students the chance to give back to our community. Students enjoyed helping out in serving the community.
