The safety of our students and staff remains the highest priority at Laredo ISD. After assessing current weather conditions, Laredo ISD will be delaying the start of classes on Thursday, September 25, 2025, due to possible thunderstorms and flooding.
Laredo ISD elementary schools will begin their classes at 9:45 a.m., while middle school students will start the day at 10:00 a.m. LISD high schools will start their day at 10:15 a.m.
All Laredo ISD administrative offices and departments will be open on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Central office staff is expected to be at work at 9:30 a.m.
Classes will resume on Monday, September 29, 2025, as regularly scheduled.
Be assured that Laredo ISD will continue monitoring weather conditions and notify the public of any other changes in our schedule via the District’s social media and website at www.laredoisd.org.

The Laredo Independent School District in partnership with the City of Laredo Health Department will be offering flu vaccines at no cost for LISD students who are eligible under the Texas Vaccine for Children (TVFC)* requirements.The flu vaccine clinics are scheduled through October.
