Students will work in groups to collect data from the field using testing kits and their senses such as sight and smell. They will communicate their results in writing (chart) & draw logical conclusions supported by their findings. The students will test for concentration of nitrate, phosphate, dissolving oxygen, biological oxygen demand, pH, turbidity, salinity, & bacteria coliform levels.
